Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Misery loves company. Unicorns sparkle.

I’ve never cried at any book, yet I’m threatening to make myself cry with my own literary works. No joke.

She needs a sympathetic nuzzle. You can borrow my horse, he is always giving them away. Never mind the snot.

Aw, its a sad story now. I wounder if Marigold is looking at this as a “horses are not unicorns and this story had no unicorns” thing.

Given the title of the book, I hope the first sentence wasn’t: “What can you say about a five-year-old horse who died?”

    Somebody needs a unicorn.

Wonder how Marigold reacted to this part…

Posting this on one of the more popular comics to reach the most people. Hubby heard on the radio this morning that eBay is suggesting everyone change their password because they were hacked.

Is this Horse Storie as good as Black Beauty? Have to give it a try.I also remember a short storie that made me cry when I was a kid about a black mare with a White star on the forehead that was sold to work in a mine and lived there the rest of her life, and told her offspring about the sun and the green pastures and he didn´t believed her. Any hint what story could that have been?. Read it in Spanish and could have been edited short, inside Grolier´s New Youth Treasure.

Matthew Ebel should write an “Everybody Needs a Unicorn” song.

Let me guess: She’s reached the part where the horse dies.
