Did anyone else cringe at the Chinese stereotype used in this cartoon?
Deal was 10 years in the making so not a direct result of recent events although they certainly did influence the lower price agreed upon. Does it mean sanctions against Russia would bite even less? But anyway, it means more competition for the Russian gas and therefore the likelihood of higher prices for the EU should they not find alternative supplies.
I read up on T.Roosevelt after your post.I was unaware of some of his views. Some of your national parks came at a cost to the indigenous populations.Also interestingly, Obama quoted him in some of his speeches. The irony.Thanks.
