A lot has been going on here. Jack’s hip has been bothering him for the last few years, and on Monday he couldn’t walk. His leg was in extreme pain, and could not bear his weight. Went to Prompt Care (orthopedic) and they x-rayed all the joints, and yes, he still has arthritis everywhere. Yesterday we went to a specialist, and he said that he is not ready for hip replacement for a very long time. Put him on a steroid for 6 days and pain meds, and he is soooo much better this a.m. While there, the doc noticed that his pulse in his foot is weak, and both feet are slightly blue and red. So, today we go to a vascular surgeon for a work up to see if there is a problem.
Big bunch of thunderstorms yesterday afternoon and evening. They just seemed to park over Henderson. I love the rain!!! I didn’t go to church last night because the two major roads I take to get there are always rivers when it rains like that.
I will add my greetings to everyone else, Slim. WELCOME BACK!!! Your wonderful stories and camaraderie have been missed.
@AlexI don’t understand why, but I couldn’t get the Reply feature on GoComics to work. But here’s what I tried to say:LOL! That’s cool, Alex, but I don’t think it would be allowed on our golf course!
