Sport rules are complicated enough for non-followers. Do they really need to complicate the player non-drama as well? Contract, free agent….. they all make way to much money to play children’s games for me to care about their will they/won’t they crap.

how can anybody feel any loyalty to a professional sports team? the players are interchangeable and have no loyalty to the city they momentarily represent; the owners stick around only as long as the citizens keep pouring money into their coffers.
