What ever gave you that idea? The arrows pointed your way or the drawn bridge?

Looks like the castle on the corner, where the spooky old man with butcher knives lives.

Wood-eye, you beat me to it, by about six hours it looks like. My goodness what hours do you keep?

I’d get further away from the moat though, Crocs or Gators as the case may be can launch themselves pretty far out of the water.

the welcome mat is a target….stand on mat….get driven into the ground like a nail when the draw bridge comes down. actually you’re better off with the gator’s. they only need to eat once or twice a year. while your hippos are off grazing at night…the gator’s are 24/7. good luck, serf.

Castles would have more curb appeal if they had koi ponds instead and many more windows, an open terrace…

Are the two guys outside the taxERS or the taxEES? It looks like the latter to me, which means the armed and moat-surrounded castle is just insult to injury as the tax people effectively take our money at gun–er, arrow point. And they make us go to them to boot!

They speak a language in that castle that reads from right to left. That mat really says EMOCLEW which means you’re dead meat.

Of course this cartoon is political, because it starts out with the Politically Correct mantra “At the risk of sounding judgmental….”

I just HATE non-judgmental people! Especially any non-judgmental hypocrites who will jump on me for this.

Wiley - It is a great one, even though the arrow slots on castles are really VERY narrow (like those you drew in the towers)and other windows high and inaccessible, but I don’t want to be picky- I’m just a re-enactor! It still is a great giggle! and it DOES appear that the crocs put out the “welcome” as well they might (animals are smart!)

What happened to the battlements? They were in the newspaper. Who says newspapers will be replaced ? You never really know what you’re missing until you take a good look around. What’s essential is often missing in cyberspace.

It’s a shame because if they hadn’t shown that it’s also cut off on the mug I might have bought one.
