I think for an older woman, Avis trys to be upbeat. Good for her. She is working as hard as possible to be ‘Alive’. :) Peace.

I see we’re not calling her calling “The Joker’s Mom” anymore, just “Avis” (of course there are some better names you would like to call her!).
I think Rose is showing great restraint by not insulting the old bag.
