My quess would be Garfields feet have to be so much bigger than the rest of his body because of all that Conceit they have to keep up and running
There’s not really much to the joke here… Perhaps if Jon were actually doing something and urgently required help, it might be funnier, but as it is the setup really doesn’t make much sense.
