Pastis would be uproariously funny if he actually set some time aside now to do a good story… although I’ll admit his “recovery” from the pun this time was actually funny.

Those blind reviewers are pretty good. The napkin was supposed to be the placebo.

Anyway… yeah…. around here some jerk politicians similarly write off concerns about sales tax increases…. they don’t affect poor people cos poor people can’t shop anyway.

Isn’t all the hate mail these days emails, twitter rants, and instagrams of people’s toilets?

Pastis is gonna get a lot of Braille mail.

The semi-pro whiners will offend the blind just as much as Pastis with their hate mail. Blind folks have a sense of humor, too. But Cartoon-Boy knows he’s skating on thin ice and that even thinner-skinned whiners will try to skewer him. So, yeah, set aside a room for the hate mail: the furnace room.

Notice how Pastis has quietly worked in a way to only have to come up with two panel strips? …followed by some variation of the “Steph’s annoying someone” panel, be it hate mail, Rat berating him, etc.
