JusSayin PS: I think that chest may have real food. Everytime I see the building, I am reminded of a domed stadium. The place they are, resembles the underside of the concession area at Astrodome or Superdome. I’m guessing the footlocker is loaded with Twinkies®. They sometimes glow like that.

Chick turned his hat around. The feather used to be on the right side.

Chic“Nothing creepy here at all folks.Nothing to stare at…….who’s Willard??”Really on a side note…..does Chic look bigger to you…??Holly is a bit smaller than Wally. Chic before was about Wally’s height hence the “kid” idea. Sitting down Chic looks somewhat bigger now.Accelerated growth and with it….. aging??

Not so much weapons. Really not much need except for a good knife which can serve as tool and weapon. But food and water. Now that is essential. But first things first…..WHERE’S WALLY??(And what is she staring at??)

Maybe the kid has a few modified dusters in the chest, and I don’t mean the feathered kind.

If you notice these lizards have only edged weapons. May have rifles but like you point out would have little effect on the monsters in the wastes. The Topsiders suits are cut proof as only a Zero knife can cut them. But never underestimate the value of a good knife. When it comes down to it if the monster swallows you….you can cut your way out. Messy but it works.

I have doubts about the effectiveness of the lizards’ guns. When Piotr spoke about the problem of stealing from other communities, he mentioned the problem of doing so with wooden swords. My guess is that the colony either lacks ammunition and the other things needed to keep assault rifles healthy. The weapons may make threatening props for banditry, but would be useless in a colony invasion where the locals would be expected to fight back.
