I guess that according to math & science, 100% is the real maximum. The only exception to this rule is taxes.

If you give 50% of inspiration and 60% of perspiration then you are giving a total 110% into the project.

I had a manager like Rita. She had no appreciation for engineering standards.

100% is the limit before you break something. I like to compare it to paper clips. If you only put in 3-4 pieces of paper they last forever. If you put in 30-40, they will hold, but are permanently deformed and won’t properly hold 3-4 afterwards.

If you work more than the standard 45 hours a week (Engineers) then you go over the normal 100% of time.Or if you are a Smart engineer, you work 40 Hours and put 65 on the Spreadsheet. Which of course is all the manager goes by anyway.

The Bigger-Hammer Theory of Problem-Solving has a corollary: The Bigger-Whip Theory of Management.

The juice IS 100% juice, it’s just 10% of the drink.

Rita’s double negative alters her answer to Jays question. It should be Yes – with that kind of … or No I do not understand, that kind of ….
