Leopold probably got the notion to say that after seeing the way Gary is sitting.

I suspect Gretchen will now have a hissy fit.

I’m new to “Scary Gary”. When I found it a few weeks ago I was impressed and went back to read everything from 2009 on. I was not too surprised to find that Buford often resorted to reruns, because I was OK with that as long as there was new material. Then I found that 2012 was entirely reruns, yet 2013 had much excellent new material. And now I’m so disappointed that 2014 has been all old stuff. Even great comics become stale hash after a while (which is why I recently dropped “Cow and Boy”, “Cul de Sac”, and others).

Does anyone here know anything about the status of “Scary Gary” and/or Mark Buford? Google was no help. Anybody?

Calvin and Hobbs are all re-runs and I still enjoy them. Some things are worth repeating.

CandB ended here in Dec. 2012, then moved to its own website. There it continued until Dec. 2013. The final strip on the website is clearly a fairwell.

Newer, yeah, but new? Nuh-uh. Besides, I was asking about “Scary Gary”, and it looks like nobody knows what’s happened to it.
