What is that Hispanic doing with that suburban window. (Hint same thing that African-American professor was doing at his house.)

So you’d rather that the police ignore what looks like a burglary in progress just because the suspect is of a particular race? I’d rather the cop checks out what is going on. Hopefully Baldo cooperates instead of copping an attitude and making things difficult for everyone.

This is why we bought a doorlock that opens with a key or a combination, whichever is handier to use.

I hope Baldo has ID on him giving the address of the house he’s trying to enter through the window. Something similar happened to me, although it didn’t escalate to what’s being portrayed here. But I locked myself out of my house in the rain; and to compound the problem, I locked myself out of my car (which is how I locked myself out of the house). I knew there were unlocked windows in the house because the windows had recently been replaced and I couldn’t close and lock the windows until the caulk set. However, I had just gone around the first floor locking the windows as the caulk had set there; so I couldn’t get in the easy way. And I wasn’t going to have a lot of success climbing a rain-slickened slate roof to reach the second floor windows. So I went to the town police station to ask them to have someone come and open my car so I could get into the house. Took quite some convincing; but they eventually acquiesced. I suppose being able to show them my driver’s license with the address I was trying to enter helped convince them.
