I will generously believe that Dr. Frankenstein offered to pay for the Monster’s plastic surgery (to avoid confusion I am not calling it Frankie here). On the other hand, Frankenstein is simply dodging his own responsibility, his own aesthetic failure. And that matters a lot to the Scary Gary version of the Monster, who will be even more angry, though not violent.
