What’s interesting actually, is that immigrants took over, basically in both the Americas, and the war on the natives is still much more violent to our south. A frend did report that things seem to have improved in Ecuador where she taught several decades ago, and recently made a return trip. It seems the oil money may actually be helping? Yes, they’ve got oil too. We shall see.

Let’s see there are about 12 million immigrants or about three percent of the population. Most of them are good Christians who work really hard low paying jobs to support their families. Many have been here for many years. It would seem to me it would make sense for the do nothing congress to reach some kind of compromise and move on to the dozens of other problems the country faces. I guess it’s just more fun to shut down the government and to sue or try to impeach the president.

Instead of them coming to US how about they ask US to come to them; we could invest in our territories and they would never had to leave their home.

This is why I think for America to be so AGAINST immigration is one of the biggest (and stupidest) ironies of our day. America was BUILT on immigration. Why do we have such a hard time accepting it?

Granted, it needs regulating, but it’s my opinion that we’ve been going about it entirely the wrong way for many, many, years. Part of the reason WHY we have so many “illegal” immigrants because, in the long run, it’s often literally EASIER for them to come into the country illegally than legally. That, to me, suggests there’s a much greater problem going on here.

But that’s just my two-bits on the matter.

    1. I live next door to a family of them. They sure look like a part of the population.2. They do harder jobs than any of those of us who immigrated a few generations ago. Most people won’t even take their jobs because the pay is too low and the work too hard.3. Congress has refused to do anything and even stated at the beginning of the present administration term that “they were determined to see that he would fail”4. Apparently you don’t even read the conservative news. The impeachment mangers seem to want Joe Biden to finish out the term,

Between 1962 and 1979, hundreds of thousands of Cubans entered the United States under Attorney General’s parole authority, many of them arriving by boat.

Let’s hear Ted Cruz say “Wet foot, dry foot” that followed this EXECUTIVE ACTION, only later with law, was equally bad, and he wants to go back to Canada, or his dad’s homeland of Cuba?

Hey Stahler, thanks for insulting every last legal immigrant ever to come to the U.S., and their millions of ancestors. I’m sure your open handed slap in the face will build support for Emperor Obama’s law breaking.

“Hey Stahler, thanks for insulting every last legal immigrant ever to come to the U.S., and their millions of ancestors.”Hey manteo16nc, the Europeans that settled North America were invaders who stole the land from the existing inhabitants. That’s not an insult, it’s the unvarnished truth. Lest you forget your American history, the US expanded westward by pushing more and more natives off their land. When the natives tried to fight back, the US Army stepped in to slaughter them.
