    I wish Charles Schulz was still around to create more Peanuts Comic Strips. All the characters must be elderly by now.

    @Aaron SaltzerMad Magazine did a classic parody of comic strip characters being their real ages. (Linus and Violet were going to go make out in the woods—which is why he still carried around that blanket.) Snoopy was giving a longwinded talk to some birds, and finally realized “Nobody wants to listen to a senile old beagle!”

    Of course he’s eavesdropping, at this point in time he was still reporting to the Head Beagle. He became the Head Beagle much later in the strip…
