Someone standing up for Charlie Brown, especially a girl?
A fairly appropriate strip to the day….funny that it originally ran in November.
I like these early strips when CB hadn’t become a, pardon the expression, butt monkey.
They’re actually holding hands in the first panel.
It’s odd to see Charlie shorter than the others. And he’s smiling.
In the earliest days of the strip, the girls generally liked Charlie Brown (even Lucy). CB is reacting the wrong way, though. Patty IS going to the movie with him…the “competition” has already been won.
Charlie Brown, by his own admission a few days ago, is only 4…
