Enough of the geogrsphy lesson, I sense some chemistry brewing in biology class.

And Leisl is wondering why Bobby has a tonsure.

OK, giving Rod the benefit of the doubt and assuming light is supposed to be reflected off Bobby’s head, Milford must have 300-watt floodlights in every classroom, locker room, restaurant, etc.

Chip called it yesterday. No, the “pencil” part was not right but the idea was very correct. Good one, chip. Yes, too many players take unnecessary “dribbles” before shooting and end up getting blocked/defended and lose the points.

Kinda reminicient of MILFords version of Moneyball!With that loose tie look, Bobby will end up in the finance dept. at Acme Industries.

I dribble before I shoot because Steve Luhm told me to. He said that a quick dribble helps set up the shot.

In all reality , the ability pull up, go straight up and shoot after a quick dribble is a lost skill. Be responsible celebrating tonight . May 2015 be a better year to all , Happy New Year .

Bobby doesn’t have a pen/pocket protector, wears a tie and traditional eyeglasses. I foresee Wendy Wiley giving these two dance lessons.

Is Liesl another transfer student? Otherwise that name story has gotten pretty old.

Damn right I told her that! Doing the coach’s job for the girl’s team is my thing, I don’t like Bobby moving in on my turf. He better be careful or his troubles in Mopped Up Thorp will get much worse!

That is some odd case of puppy love. Dude is sweating something fierce! Kudos, though, for overcoming it and talking to the girl.

I’m all for giving Whigham grief over his artwork, but only when he deserves it. I’ve said this before but, the “tonsure” comments are just wrong. If you look at the strip in color — http://www.seattlepi.com/comics-and-games/fun/Gil_Thorp/ — you’ll see that those are bald spots, but blue spots, much like Superman’s hair was black with blue in it. Now, if you want to nail Whigham for giving so many “blue jobs,” have at it. These guys give us enough fodder for our jokes, without our making stuff up. That’s Luhm’s job.

Oops. Should have said “not bald spots.” Or was I just giving you fodder to come after me? Rod Whigham, er, make that HooDad.

Because I have a cheap dentist. I drool before meals, too. Are you trying to look like a young Clark Kent? Hmm, Superstats! Strange visitor from another decade, able to leap past logarithms, faster than Texas Instruments, more powerful than Windows XP, and who, disguised as the team manager, fights a never ending battle for numbers, formulas, and the Milford Way.

When I was in school, the kids that wore ties were complete and total losers.

She always takes a dribble before she shoots because when she was even smaller and weaker than she is now, she needed the motion of bringing the ball up from the dribble to provide the extra oomph to propel it to the basket. And that’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.

Why don’t we ever have a good story line about the Milford cheerleaders? I bet we could have a field day with comments on that!
