For anyone who’s counting that means they’re going to have their New Years kiss 16 or 17 times once it hits them (depending if they’re in Eastern or Central) – 13 regular timezones, plus 3 offset by half an hour (Myanmar, India, Newfoundland).

(13 or 14 regular time zones, that should be, of course.)
