The chase is on to figure out which vintage shoe store commercial Mike and Joe will be referencing here.

    Maybe this one?

    1.) Vintage is right.

    2.) Teenage girl seen briefly.

    3.)“Space-Era” technology on display.

Not for a shoe store though, more for a shoe brand

How long can they keep up the exact same scam? The ploy depends on faking a film that nobody’s seen for decades, fooling a person who actually made the original, and should remember it better than anyone else. It also depends on finding a good double, and their current target is working with their last one who saw through it.

One of these commercials was on a Valerie Bertinelli YouTube playlist, but I’d think she was a little too young to have appeared in them …

Mmmm, popcorn! These two con artists have a very spotty track (and legal) record. Is Agate Aggie/Annie really gullible enough for them?

If only Chester Gould had thought to juggle dozens of villains and story lines at the same time. His strip might have become really popular. And with no story really ending it could have run for years.

I cannot believe she used the word “scam”…… Sprocket Nitrate is without doubt the most up-front and honest character in the lineup. (Certainly the smartest) I hope Mike & Joe don’t do snything to tarnish her image. I’d venture to say that she sings in the Choir.

I can certainly accept that actors can forget a lot of their old roles. I remember an interview with David Duchovny where he said that he happened to see an old X-Files episode that he’d totally forgotten. The episode made it out that his character Fox Mulder suffered from a severe fear of fire. Hey, wait a minute, he said. He’d been running through burning rooms without problems in a lot of episodes since then. :)

But anyway, the scam does depend on faking footage from something that the victim would be willing to pay through the nose to get. That doesn’t seem like something he or she would have forgotten completely.

    Good morning guys!

I didn’t stay up to read DT last night. I’m pleased that it is back to the old time again.

Thanks for the commercials guys. I love (old) commercials!

Actually, I think it was the second season (1966-67). It was used in the episode “Blast Off Into Space” (1966, one of my many favorites) and in the unexpected final episode entitled “Junkyard In Space” (1968).

Not being a fan of sci-fi, I never really watched “Lost in Space”. But, for me Guy Williams was the quintessential Zorro! The first episode I ever saw was #2: “Zorro’s Secret Passage”. I still vividly remember watching that, and how it made me feel.

…..don’t really know what value an old commercial would have to her compared to that of Vitamin’s lost film…….at least they’re not faking old “xxx” films like some do nowadays, lol

Hmmmm…Nitrates today, BB, Double, Blaze and Ponytail yesterday, bank robbery the day before……do we get more of Honeymoon’s detective ambition, Li’l Attitude, Stiletta, or something else tomorrow? I know this will all come together eventually, but right now you need a scorecard with all the plots developing from so many angles, lol…..

My nephew tells me he saw an ad on FE TV, where they were going to show about eight episodes on something called “Stunt Sunday” ,but I have been unable to locate it in their schedule so far.I also remember seeing that episode of Lone Ranger where Guy Williams was a local sheriff.

I probably didn’t make my last post to you clear. Apparently, FE TV said they were showing four hours worth of Guy Williams Zorro on a program labeled “Stunt Sunday”, but I could not locate it in their schedule.
