A little work to do on the backchecking, Snoopy?

BOO! HISS! Instead of running the Feb. 1968 Sunday where the pre Woodstock watches Snoopy ice skate and Snoopy says “He just flew in from Grenoble, and he said I would have won easily” this 1959 Peanuts Sunday strip, originally from January 4, 1959 and previously rerun on January 1, 2006 (when the Peanuts reruns went back to 1959 starting in order after going backwards from 1974 to 1969) gets rerun instead! Maybe the Grenoble reference is POLITICALLY INCORRECT or something like that for today?

Snoopy is an ice loving Beagle, alright. My Beagle, Belinda, used to hate ice. While out for a winter’s walk….“Pick me up, my paws are freezing!”.

Agree, probably changed because of a dated reference. I don’t recall this strip. Poor Snoop. Probably why he hides behind two massive goalie pads later on.

Geez! Can’t you find another ice rink to play Ice Hockey on?

Poor Snoopy.

This one just makes me laugh out loud. Poor Snoopy, run over by a hockey game! The puck was a warning sign, but after it flew by everything happened so fast…;)
