OK, somebody has to do it…. 350 times 60 times 60 times 24 times 365 (number of slices eaten per year) divided by 8 (number of pies eaten per year) equals about 1.379 trillion. So unless more than 99.5 percent of those are home-made instead of sold, then those numbers must have been developed by sociologists.
