So if Elizabeth got a Hot Wheels car the turn after next, would she want it?

I’d rather have the Hot Wheels car than a sticker of a pink teddy bear. Hot Wheels rock!

So Michael will keep the pink toy, until his friends find it and tease him about ‘being a girl’. Then he’ll no doubt throw it out, instead of letting his sister have it, just so he can chalk up a win in some imaginary battle with a sibling…

Its a nice trade off just in case Elizbeth got something Michael wanted

From the good old days when you got prizes in sugary cereal boxes.

Michael you are a boring nag. First it’s about your test grades now a prize.

Michael is a kid. They come in multiple sizes/ages/blood types/colors.

Their kids….it isn’t about the toy. It is about digging through the box of cereal to find the toy!

He’s a child, Reb. They act like kids.Jeeeez.

This is a Mom teaching moment….tell your son to tell his sister that even though it IS his turn, he will give it to her this time. Mentioning that it isn’t something he would want, is optional.

They had one awhile back when Lizzie threw a fit in the car because she wanted the window when it was Michael’s turn, (Lawrence is with them so he has the other window.) Ellie makes Michael give up the window so Lizzie will shut up, she gloats for one panel then falls asleep.
