There’s not much anyone can really ever say that will make this any easier, except, perhaps, that I’ve been there myself over the years and so I do understand. I’m very sorry for your loss.

Our cat too hunts mice whenever he wants now, we see him in our minds roaming the woods near our house, and he’s having a great time at it. She might not have been a mouser like our Sammy but I’m sure Gladys is having great fun.

I’m so sorry Dana. Gladys was a beautiful cat and looked similar to my Sigmund. Sending hugs and warm, comforting thoughts to you.

So very sorry, Dana. And what a trouper you are, with your lovely tribute to your friend. All we can do, all they ask, is give them a good life while they’re with us, and it appears you gave Gladys a good long life. Well done!

I know how hard it is to lose a cat. A few months ago we lost our Siamese, Misfit. And she was only a kitten. Still, she knew she was surrounded by humans and cats alike that loved her. Remember, cats have nine lives, so Gladys will start a new life as a kitten somewhere.

Gladys has gone to the Jellicle Ball.

I’m sorry about your cat Dana, I know how you feel a few years ago I lost my cat as well cause she was old. I hope the cat in today’s strip can join the cast.
