Man, just think if he’d had a GREEN M&M instead of an orange one, right?

In the first panel, Max looks like he’s about to get a face full of basketball.

During football season the players completely ignored every play that Gil sent in and won the championship. Gil decided to take that strategy a step farther for b-ball season. I think he left with Kaz to search for Mimi and the kids.

On this week’s “Outside the Lines” podcast Marjie Ducey talks to Bob Ley about her report on rampant placebo-taking in Milford basketball.

In all reality , you know Ms Ducey you just feel unstoppable . The Viagra Bobby gives me before games not only makes me unstoppable in the bedroom as you well know but a side effect is that it raises my game to a new level. I’m bigger and harder both on the court and in the sack.

Bobby IS passing something. He is passing the telepathic message “Better give me some credit, Max, or the next pill you get is my sister’s birth control pill”

Enjoy the quarterly Marjie sighting Gilford fans. Will not see her again for 2 months when the Milford 9 begins baseball workouts. WTH is she wearing, new age Addias? Bobby continues to eerily resemble a former HS classmate of mine. Trust me, Bobby can do no wrong.

I’m guessing it’s a placebo. Bobby is always one step ahead.

Okay, is that the most forced-question-to-allude-to-the-current-storyline-that-a-reporter-would-never-ask-in-real-life you’ve ever heard? “You had a great game today, was there something specific you worked on leading into this game?”Speaking of forcing things, I am going to attempt to force you to read today’s Mopped Up Thorp.P.S. I have a new theory that I can’ t believe anyone has thought of yet – Bobby gave Max a placebo!

Well he should have a good game being a teenager and going against balding middle age men like the one on the right in panel one. He can’t even jump high enough to get his number in the panel.

Ms. Ducey, didn’t you used to be “Little Hassy” from the Real McCoys. Hassy Ducey! I see you’re wearing hospital footies. Did they give you any pills you don’t need?

So Max complained of feeling “flat” and “worn out” late in games. Bobby presumably gave him a placebo before this game and he had energy throughout. But why was he feeling so tired to begin with?
