Arthur, Caiaphas was a high priest, and I don’t think this will excuse him on Judgment Day. If the author (irrespective of his denomination) is a Christian, he is doing a better job at denigrating Christ in this strip than many anti-Christians. As a follower of Christ, it hurts to see professing Christians behaving this way. As someone living in a restrictive country according to Open Doors, it hurts to see other believers (I hope he is) using his freedom this way.

This is the end of “for Heaven’s sake” for me. It’s been years, and I had thought the author might even be a Christian.
