Madeline…… I have read this strip for years & can’t say I ever knew what Mom’s name was.
What a revelation! Yesterday, I thought we were privy to a morning scenario in the Otterloop household, but today’s strip clarifies that it is late evening, three hours past Alice’s bedtime. So, thebird55 seems to be on target….

Peter (Sr.) is so relieved. He was afraid he was hallucinating from lack of sleep again.
My middle granddaughter sleepwalks. Once I had to talk her out of going downstairs to check on her sister. She recalled nothing about it the next day.
Is the moon full? Maybe she is dreaming that she’s the werewolf.
