Not all that long ago, in fancier restaurants, there used to be separate menus for men and women. Only the men’s menus had prices, as it was considered bad form for the woman to know how much the man was paying for her dinner.
Now they don’t have prices (and some don’t on ANY menu) or they have them as just a number, no $ or cents to play phyce tricks on you to get you to pay more.
