At the risk of upsetting JonathonMason, GBT is playing with the foreground (note the paper under Rick’s coffee cup) again.

There would be much more stuff in the waste basket in the fifth frame.

Could have been worse. Could have been Dick Dead Fern.

This strip (like Dick & Lacey) is an example of why some of us keep reading, even when the politics tends to be pedantic, predictable, and un-funny.

Which proves you always proof read before leaving the printers.

Would Bick’s full name be Bichard?

I think Rick’s best move is to legally change his name to “Bick” the same day!

Paper in the typewriter is different too from frame to frame. And I’m doubtful about the handle on the trophy in the bookcase. Maybe we could have a “Spot the Difference” game here!

And the paper in the wastebasket seems to be moving and increasing as well.

Man, whatever happened to Bick? He was my favorite character, what with his wacky antics and all.

I got my holiday letters printed at a place, and they mixed up the order of pages, getting the fronts/backs botched up. They redid them without charge. All Joanie has to do is have it redone – unless there’s a honkin’ deadline.

Just shows that GT doesn’t use a lot of cut & paste like some do.

googled Bick just now, curious since Redfern dint know ‘him’ neither:> bick… to chill or relax (yes, i know it sounds weird but hey, that`s us in san diego) [usage] i was bickin it with the homies down at mark`s pad.um,,, Mark’s pad? “Megaphone Mark” Slackmeyer’s pad!?

In the first frame only, the desk has a drop-leaf visible next to Joanie.

Rick is obviously a bachelor – a man who was either married or once married would have just smiled and said how nice they were!

Don’t want to present a spoiler, but I hope they continue this arc about the invitations. The result of the attempted correction is one of my favorite strips.

Oh just leave it. It’ll make a funnier story!

It is one of the few times Rick has displayed a sense of humor.

Wow a typewriter!! And no computer in sight! Now that takes me back….
