I think a light just dawned: Lamb makes it Shepherd’s Pie, and beef makes it Cottage Pie? Are there any other versions with different names — pork, chicken, etc.? Or can Cottage Pie be made with other meats? I have been a fan of BritComs and Masterpiece Theater for so long, so it’s great to learn about all these dishes they talk about with such fondness.
