The dogs get to pre wash the plates after dinner is finished. Although sometimes they wish they hadn’t. We like very very spicy foods. The more hot peppers the better. My Weim has learned to like it. My parents Great Dane is not so sure. When we eat together it is only competition that makes the Dane lick the plates. The tongue smacks afterward are very funny though.

That is the one place we never ever give any sort of food. For the most part, our dog stays out of the dining room when we eat.

Yeah but whatever’s on the table will always seem more appetising. The grass is greener, etc. etc.

It always amazes me… how a dog (or cat) can give you a look of starvation. All the while hiding a plump body behind those starving eyes.
