Welcome to Texas. If you don’t like the weather right now… Just wait a few minutes. It will change.

I was born in Michigan. I have memories of walking along with the snow being over my head. I certainly glad I now live in Texas! Give me 100degree heat anytime.

@K.C. Fahel“girls don’t play with guns”.Nobody should PLAY with guns. They demand respect for their ability to make holes near and far. I assume you’ve been careful._____________________________

How stupid do you think I am? I was trying to shorten the story and I didn’t think I had to explain that my mother wouldn’t buy a toy gun for me because… Also, my husband is former law enforcement and currently a security specialist, licensed to carry concealed. Caution and respect is a given in our household; even our daughters know better.

To several of the above. The quote: “If you don’t like the weather, wait a few minutes,” is about Oklahoma. Why? Because Will Rogers, the great American humorist, first said it about his home state of Oklahoma. All the rest have just borrowed the saying. =)

People say that about any place they happen to be . . . except that it’s actually true about Texas.

IMO, playing with guns is target practice, shooting varmints is work. Now let’s talk about vying for a Darwin Award.

actually, and this is true, in the age of GW there’s no such thing as Normal weather anymore. “i give up” is as good as it gets.

NBC found a new job for Brian Williams: weather forecaster. Nobody expects accurate reporting from them.

True about Oregon and Wash. State (maybe Idaho, not sure) also. Just ask the trans-plant Californians what they think of the weather…

Yeah, that describes Michigan weather alright, today started out with a fairly heavy snow, then it warmed up and turned to icy rain, and tonight it’s suppose to freeze all that water and turn everything to ice.

Always consider if you miss, if the bullet continues, if it falls short..I joke frequently but some things are serious..A woman in Escambia County called for help when her estranged boyfriend came bothering her.The deputies decided to shoot him in the head. It’s a judgment call.Maybe they should’ve.Problem was that he used her as a shield.Deputies fired 13 times.Hit his hand once.Hit her 5 times in the neck and at least once more elsewhere. He hid behind a wall and they shot her some of the time through the wall.Even trained law enforcement officers need to consider consequences.

In Baltimore, we’re having freezing rain. Got off work early YAY! Tomorrow, it warms up. Thursday it’s supposed to snow. Please let my workplace close! I have had it with winter!
