Telemarketers are people, too, let’s remember, and many of them have families to feed. (This doesn’t let out robo-calls, of course.) I just say, “Sorry, not interested” or “Sorry, I have my own charities I donate to”, or whatever is appropriate. (Then again if certain trolls on GoComics called me I’m pretty sure my saintly politeness would be tossed overboard……..)
Don’t you have caller ID on your phones? I can see who is calling, ignore if I choose and let it go to the answering machine……….. No need to get so upset about it……………..
If you don’t have caller ID service available, you can at least get an answering machine to help you prescreen calls and save them if you are out..No biggie…..
Here’s a bit of positive news……….. My grandson had his sports physical last week …….OK to play lacrosse his is 14 years in Feb past, weighs 162 lbs. and is 1/2 inch shy of 6 feet tall (73.48 Kg and 181.5 Cm) and wears really big shoes, is always on the schools academic honor roll.Takes after his great grandpa. Handsome and has his choice of girls. Lucky kid………..
According to the latest info on Google an investment of 1.15 million euros is required to gain Maltese citizenship as in the Amended Citizenship Act. Are they trying to keep out immigrants or what?
