Once again with the overgeneralizing. What actor/actress actually went into public service? Arnold Schwarzenneger (sorry if mis-spelled)? Sonny Bono? Ronald Reagan? They were conservative Republicans.
Also, be aware that Jeb Bush is charging $100,000 per plate for his fundraisers.
You can’t throw mud without getting some of it on you.
And today I am writing in my Book of Blessings that I am not Vito Barbieri (or his wife) and will not have to take what he’s going to get as this goes viral. Ah, the American education system…!
I’ve known quite a few actors, the famous and wealthy (nice folks mostly) as well as the “typical” actor or actress, better known as waiters and waitresses. It’s a very tough business to get into. Also having been on sets, don’t know many folks who’d put in the hours actors and crew do on production days- very, very, long days!
Play one: don’t forget George Murphy, who kinda’ kicked off the whole serving in D.C. thing , from Hollywood.

It would be interesting to find out what the Hollywood elite pay their household help; maids, cooks, gardeners etc.
