Those “Keystone Jobs” are imaginary. The environmental damage that will be done with the first major spill will be real. The climatic damage that is happenning right now is real. The lack of foresight shown by the supporters of the enrichment of Big Oil by allowing the destruction of yet another resource we may need later is monumental. As for “Green Fat Cats,” where are they, Canada?
@SizeofaPeaI suggest you give a good try not to talk bad about Canadians, you may have to buy their water in the near future, and you’ll need to build a pipe line.
I live in Edmonton, and for the life of me I cannot understand what the general population thinks they will gain from this pipeline. The jobs that will be “created” are temporary and many of the workers will be specialists taken from other areas. The final product will employ very few people. The material that will be in the line is just to pass through the US to be shipped overseas. The overall population (even here in Edmonton) will see very little, if any, benefit. And, yes, there will be leaks that will leave severe environmental damage.
dear jase 99 how much money is in hyway trust fund ? problem is the democrats spend it on bike trails// note pipeline cost gov $0 /// the green bho is saving is warren buffet green [ bnsf shipping fees]

If Republicans gave a damn about temporary construction jobs, they’d allocate money to fix the nations roads and bridges.
