Without net neutrality providers do something akin to what health insurers have done for years. Sorry that website is out of network.

Anybody who pays a Comcast bill knows they can’t be trusted.

^ Sure Harley, but you said “not one Republican” voted for that $2b website? So now the minority Democrats are forcing net neutrality down our throats?

Actually, I think that court is next on the agenda. It’s cheaper to get a favorable judge than bribe congressmen.

Many years ago our Leaders created Freedom of the Press rights based on the 1st admendment, unfettered Internet access to all sources of information is imperative to our rights.-————————————————————————————————Yup, if I write a letter to the newspaper editor they have to publish it on the front page, right? The L.A. Times had a ’reader’s ombudsman’ whose job was to tell complaining readers that they have the right to slant a story.

Rembering when ever-benevolent Microsoft introduced Windows 95, and we were ordered NOT TO lOAD IT, because there was internal code that allowed Microsoft to tap into everyones’ computer, especially developers, and steal any code they were working on,so that Gates could patent/copyright it to himself. Yep, trust the corporation to have free reign, and rein, to do best by you!

Yes the NSA intrusions have been a concern, but they learned the techniques from contractors in the “Private Sector”, who of course only do good.

If you think net neutrality with regulated pricing is a bad thing, look what happened to airlines after deregualtion; forget getting into a small airport and connecting without going through their “hubs”, and notice how those seats grew in size and they put ’em further apart. Oh,right, you can move from the crunch section,if you want to pay $1,000 or more “extra” to have room for your feet.

Hmm Republicans also made Medicare pay whatever the drug companies asked for drugs, instead of negotiating prices, only increasing cost to the taxpayers by around 700%, on the CHEAP stuff! Yep, regulation in the PUBLIC interest is really evil.

What Big Business monopolies? I my relatively small suburban town I can choose from Comcast, Digis, Centurylink, and Vivint, just off the top of my head. There are more providers, but those are the biggest here – and all national level providers.

Amazing how you’re so sure what will happen when a 330+ page document no one has seen is unleashed on one the great innovations of our time. I think I know what is the size of a pea.

There is so much conservative spin on this they don’t know what side is up. Net neutrality regulations would keep thing more like now where all internet traffic is neutral. Not having regulations would allow companies to create internet traffic jams until paid and profit from it.

It has nothing to do with the government or business listening in to what you are doing. Both are already doing that. Conservatives have been for Big Brother and against someone like Snowdon blowing the whistle. Conservatives often give the refrain they have nothing to hide, yet they turn around and are angry about big government. Spinning like a top.

It has. So why do conservatives rail against Snowdon? Saying they have nothing to hide and let the NSA dragnet all communication.

The net neutrality regulations has nothing to do with the government looking over your shoulder or listening in. Conservative misinformation.
