^^^^ You must’ve been in your a Cub Scout meeting this week…… The IRS’s inspector general confirmed Thursday it is conducting a criminal investigation into how Lois G. Lerner’s emails disappeared, saying it took only two weeks for investigators to find hundreds of tapes the agency’s chief had told Congress were irretrievably destroyed.

Investigators have already scoured 744 backup tapes and gleaned 32,774 unique emails, but just two weeks ago they found an additional 424 tapes that could contain even more Lerner emails, Deputy Inspector General Timothy P. Camus told the House Oversight Committee in a rare late-night hearing meant to look into the status of the investigation.

“There is potential criminal activity,” Mr. Camus said.

Btw Cross-patched brain……… Here’s your Wikipediia friends take………………..In 2013, the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) revealed that it had selected political groups applying for tax-exempt status for intensive scrutiny based on their names or political themes. This led to wide condemnation of the agency and triggered several investigations, including a Federal Bureau of Investigation criminal probe ordered by United States Attorney General Eric Holder.12 Initial reports described the selections as nearly exclusively of conservative groups with terms such as “Tea Party” in their names. Further investigation by media outlets appeared to confirm this, revealing that some liberal-leaning groups and the Occupy movement had also triggered additional scrutiny, but not at nearly the same rate as conservative groups

When they are done wasting time and money on the Lois Lerner witch hunt they can revive Benghazi and then try to vote the ACA down for the hundredth time or so. Hopefully the terrorists won’t blow something up by the time they get around to homeland security. The tea party conservatives are becoming the terrorists.

^^^^I forgot that one lol.I guess I’m so used to lefties on here changing my name. (See comments above) so I changed his/hers. My bad.As for this story being no big deal, are kidding? The Accusations are that the IRS was directed by the White House to go after conservative groups. That’s the charge.Honest question: Whether a liberal or conservative administration, wouldn’t that worry you if a Prez used the IRS to attack citizens he disagrees with????Of course it would. So when Congress brings in the Director of that division of the IRS into a hearing, she refuses testify even after being held in Contempt of Congress and her department says that thousands of emails pertaining to these actions have “mysteriously disappeared”.No big deal to you Pea?

Btw…….Here’s what some of your fellow liberals had to say about it…..MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow said: “There is a reasonable fear by all of us, by any of us, that the kind of power the IRS has, could be misused,” she further said that this scrutiny of Tea Party groups was “not fair.”98Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart stated that the scandal had taken “the last arrow in your pro-governance quiver,” he further said that this threw doubt on President Obama’s “managerial competence” and had proven correct “conspiracy theorists,” moving the burden of proof onto federal authorities.98You can read more here…..

Amazing how the same libs who thought Valerie Plame was a major scandal find IRS abuse, which they admitted happened by apologizing for it, a “phony scandal”. How an IRS director takes the 5th multiple times and they don’t even find it suspicious. Lib myopia…a mind is a terrible thing to waste.
