The real bottom line is the US health system is the most expensive in the world and does not provide world class health to our population. Our “free enterprise, insurance system” simply doesn’t do the job. Most advanced countries have single payer systems that are cheap in comparison and provide good healthcare to everyone. The Republicans are basically more concerned about big Pharma, big medical equipment suppliers the really wealthy “non-profit” health systems.
Health plans aren’t meant to be cookie cutter plans where one size fits all. That’s how Obamacare treated plans by rewriting new standards. And you Libs will just swallow whatever Obama dishes out and defend him at any cost. Obama would say to cut off your left arm and you’d say at least you have your right arm that you use the most anyway because you can’t write or throw a ball with your left arm.
Since the current assault is based on four words in a 900-page bill, the lawsuit could become moot by the passage of a bill by Congress to fix those four words. Go ahead, Republicans, present such a bill. I’m waiting…… still waiting…..
There is no “replace” provision. There’s an op-ed where three senators say they could probably come up with something that they’d like. But we know that it couldn’t pass in the house, since the house can barely fund homeland security.
The supreme court is going to decide whether to take the affordable care act away from 8 million Americans. This will mean that most of those will again Not be able to afford health insurance. How could they ever justify doing this?
Medical news from Canada:A friend of mine suddenly developed wet gangrene. He got himself to the emergency room and they did emergency surgery right away. If they hadn’t done the surgery right away he probably would have died within hours. He was in the hospital for a couple of weeks. He’s at home now, but a nurse comes twice a day to replace the dressings. Because we have universal health insurance, he never had a concern about what was covered because it was all covered. That’s how it works here in Canada.
Prior to the ACA, no one in Los Angeles was without health insurance including the illegal aliens. Any uninsured person, family or child could go into any county or local hospital and receive care at the county taxpayer expense. It is all about creating a segment of the population dependent on the Democrats.

Yep, take away millions of people’s health insurance because that will ensure your popularity.

The penalties on the irresponsibly uninsured need to kick in but the Democrats keep extending the grace period. This defeats the purpose of the law.

The Republicans will rue the day they get their wish.

Wonder what the total marketing budgets are for health insurance providers and pharmaceutical companies?

Yet those one-size-fits-all plan nations still come to America for treatment all of the time. Strange that, huh?

If it weren’t for our Canadian healthcare system, I and my wife would be broke or dead.
