I wish Gocomics would have some feature where it tells you what is going on with a strip, like when it stops updating, or goes to reruns without notice. I wrote them when Biff and Riley hung after his hiatus announcement said it would be in reruns and none appeared for a month, and all they said was to clear my cache! obviously it wasn’t just my issue since the reruns finally started from the beginning again in February.
write the help contact, I just did. Maybe it will get their attention if they get a swarm of emails. Otherwise it takes a long time for a response. If the agreement with his estate has hit a snag, then just let me know so I can drop it from my queue. We know the strips are out there since they keep pushing the books.
Just checked and this strip is the last strip of 1927, which is the end of the first book of reprints. Wonder if the issue is getting permissions for the next volume. Maybe the Crosby estate found out somebody at gocomics eats Skippy peanut butter.
Thanks for your patience and frustration is acknowledged. Skippy strips will continue as soon as the next years are uploaded. GoComics didn’t realize until I notified them yesterday the last one ended on 2/28 for the 1927 strips. Skippy will resume shortly with 1928. Technician delayed by snow storm during trip.
Well, GoComics tried to start up again last Monday, but instead they just reposted the first strip. After I commented, they took that post down and now we’re back to here. I doubt if my comment had anything to do with it, but that’s the way it is.

Okay, come on people. This is March 3. We haven’t had a new strip here for three days now. What gives?

Four days.

I got a message back from GoComics telling me, “Re-runs for this feature, will begin on Monday!”

yeah, I got a note on tuesday saying they closed my case and it was “resolved”. I guess I’ll reopen it, sigh.
