Sure beats the heck out of that fake vomit we used to buy and have fun with in those days gone by . . . .

Looking at the hands, it looks like the kid bought the mobster size.

I did something similar long ago and far away. I had acquired a postcard while in Williamsburg, Va. on a school field trip. I sent it to my older sister who had moved out of state when she got married. One line written on it: " Am doing better. Doctors say I’ll be home soon."I had forgotten about it until I came home from school a few days later with my mother standing at the door, hands on hips with that special “mother” look on her face. She was not amused. My dad, however, laughed the whole time he was giving me the obligatory whippin’ .

Sure its all funny until you really slip and nobody believes you.

Last time I was at the grand canyon, bought the book about the deaths and near deaths in the park…there has been a lot.

One of them was about a boy scout who kept joking around acting like he was falling, the edge had a little ledge down below and he kept joking around. After awhile nobody believed him, but he eventually did fall to the lower ledge and broke some bones…he was screaming for hours but the rest of the troop thought it was a joke and just left him. Finally someone went to check on him and he was almost dead, search and rescue was called and he was saved.

Then there was the story about the report who fell down to a lower ledge, when they were pulling her back up, her dress got yanked up around her head, so the whole rescue team got an eye full.

I think that’s a recording of my screaming any time I got within 15 feet of the edge..

And after Mom, Dad, and little Billy all had a good laugh over his prank, they had Billy pose for a picture in front of the canyon and kept telling him to back up.

Years ago, a family friend, who had been a tail gunner in WW2, came to the North Rim, looked over, and had a panic attack! You can still see the hand prints in the steel railing (well, almost).

If they didn’t have them before, I bet someone is thinking about it now.
