Cathy: Did you transfer your hair products to mini travel bottles yet? Irving: Men don't transfer hair products to mini bottles. We use whatever's in the hotel. Cathy: But the hotel kind won't be the kind you're used to. Irving: No. Cathy: Your hair might be different. Irving: Yes. Cathy: But...but... Irving: It's a vacation! You're SUPPOSED to experience new things! Cathy: I'M READY TO DISCOVER FAR-OFF LANDS, BUT I HAVE NO INTEREST IN SEEING ANYTHING DIFFERENT ON THE TOP OF MY HEAD!

A mini bottle isn’t enough. Most airports have drugstores airside don’t they ? Just buy your usual there, after weighing and security Cathy.

Yup. Cathy needs to read up on modern security rules. Liquids, including mini-bottle shampoos and conditioners, are definitely on the no fly list.

@WebSpider - the 3-1-1 rule is still in effect for carry ons. Although I can’t imagine that someone as high-maintenance as Cathy is going to survive on a 3.4 ounce shampoo for more than a day…

I wonder what kind of hair products Cathy is using. They must be salon brands. I’ve always been able to find travel sizes of the shampoo and conditioner I use - although if I’m staying at a hotel and not with friends, I normally (like Irving) just use what’s there.

No kidding. A couple of ounces is definitely not enough for this high-maintenance couple. I always check my shampoo and conditioner, but then again, I don’t pack half of my closet so there’s room.

Honestly, if you were Cathy or Irving, wouldn’t you be terrified to let those two crazy old folks stay at home alone in YOUR HOME?
Maybe Cathy G. will do a series of “Guess what we did to your house and belongings while you were on vacation?”
