Ah, nothing like good old-fashioned lazy cartoonists to stretch a daily gag (panels 1 and 6) to a Sunday strip with useless filler panels! And Xeroxed panels, at that! Oh, well, it’s just a paycheck, right?

The latest news about last year being the warmest on record never tells you that the increase was 0.01C degrees . . . wait for it! . . . with a margin of error of 0.1C degree! As someone put it, “The ball is on the 10-yard-line, plus or minus a football field.”

That was a lot of setup panels to wade through, only to have the punchline fall flat.

I am out of slabs and Walmart doesn’t sell them. Where does a writer get more slabs?
