My second most watched TV cartoon, the first being Bugs Bunny. Moose and Squirrel humor was really adult in content but presented as child humor. I still chuckle when I think of the “worm herding” series . . .
I always wondered why people could look at Rocky and think squirrels were fair game when identifying human nut cases as “squirrels”. Anthropomorphism discredits many animal species!
