Unbeknownst to Nancy, she has just inspired the creation of Mr. Natural…

Not only taking shoes off is gross, but reclining and putting your head on the seat…ewwww! Now I have the heebeejeebees!

Uh, Nancy, yes, who is strong and independent, is going to a movie alone? She’s a little girl! : )

Never heard of that – was that a thing at one time?

It simply amazes me as to how a simple three panel comic strip can give us a window on the unspoken customs and mores of a past time, some of them seeming ridiculous and even dangerous to us today.

Either Nancy had a serious growth spurt that started in her feet or she’s got some serious asskicking to do.

Actually, her shoes became much larger.

So some big guy must have gone home barefoot.
