I’ve always wondered why they even bothered letting the horses have a go.

They were shell-shocked!

This was a political satire about one of the British monarchs from many, many centuries ago. The working class folk could not read or write and wandering minstrels travelled from town to town and village. The people understood exactly who the rhymes were about.

Humpty Dumpty was on a wall

Humpty had an awful fall

When they went to tell the king

They caught him playing with his dingaling

Well, at least Lucy’s expanding her reading.

A good moral. If your a big egg, don’t sit on a wall…..

Humpty Dumpty went boom one too many times.

Hey, some days you get the bear, and some days the bear gets you.

Can’t unscramble eggs.

I guess Lucy’d had enough of the “Three Little Kittens” for a while.

Humpty Dumpty had a lousy summer, but he had a great fall.

You hafta wonder how the whole “egg” thing came into play. They never do say he is a poultry product
