I had an entertaining English teacher and a boring Geography instructor. I excelled in literature, but can’t find Crete on a globe without Google. Is there a correlation?

Just because someone has a lot of knowledge about a subject does not mean they can present that knowledge in a way that makes it interesting for others.

One of the most boring profs I ever had read his lectures from a stack of papers. Once he got them mixed up and read the same page over again. And he didn’t even realize it. He was even less engaged in what he was saying than we were!

Then, Marcy, you need to step in show how teaching is done so student’s does not fall asleep.

He could spice up his lectures with the occasional,

“And remember, if you don’t learn this, people WILL die.”
