If you’re a pufferfish then Garfield will be very ill.

No you’re not, however, soon you’ll be ON toast.

I like the fish’s expression in the left panel. The old, OH CR@P look.

Garfield can digest everything that is edible in this world…

He’s been at this for 33 years come this June. I think he knows what cuts of the fugu are edible and which are lethal.

I agree He has a highly disgestable stomach, He can eat anything if prepared properly. He can make a lasagna, think he can’t prepare a fish?

I believe that Garfield has the stomach of a goat.

I love that Garf’s stomach is its own breed.

The trouble is, this poisonous fish won’t kill him, just make him sick. “What doesn’t kill me only makes me stronger!”

I once trained mine to hack-up in the litter box. Much easier to clean up. What I could not do was train her to leave the remains of her nightly catch in the tub. Yuck!

William, I think there was once where jon had put a piranha in the fishtank and it really messed Garfield up.

I can’t believe I found it - August 1, 2010. I saved it in my collection, so it was easy to find.

Mentioning burps: I remember one Garfield cartoon I saw where he had consumed something like 10 or more cases of pop (6 bottles per case). When Jon and Odie saw it, Jon said something to the effect of “Run!” They didn’t make it. As I recall, the last panel showed the house expanding and the front door being blow out from the force of the gas.

Garfield has been hanging around Odie too long. He’s got doggy tongue in the first panel!
