For those who care to check it out- this was the first appearance of Rita’s bottled water, on the third panel I drew. In the first she had a styrofoam cup of coffee. The bottle didn’t become semi-permanent until a couple of weeks in.

For me, May the Fourth was the day my mother passed away. She battled cancer until she no longer could. She’s in a better place.
