‘Clear call to violence’: Experts slam Matt Gaetz for ‘inciting another insurrection’

“The internet’s hall monitors out in Silicon Valley, they think they can suppress us, discourage us — maybe if you’re just a little less patriotic, maybe if you just conform to their way of thinking a little more, you’ll be allowed to participate in the digital world," Gaetz said at a Thursday rally with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).

“Well, you know what? Silicon Valley can’t cancel this movement or this rally or this congressman. We have a Second Amendment in this country, and I think we have an obligation to use it."

“The Second Amendment – this is a little history lesson for all the fake news media. The Second Amendment is not about, it’s not about hunting, it’s not about recreation, it’s not about sports. The Second Amendment is about maintaining, within the citizenry, the ability to maintain an armed rebellion against the government if that becomes necessary," Gaetz, who is under DOJ investigation for possible sex trafficking and possible sex with a 17-year old, told supporters.

To be clear, Gaetz’s claim is false.

San Jose gunman was scheduled to face complaints over his racist remarks on day of massacre

A gunman who shot and killed nine co-workers at a San Jose rail yard was supposed to attend a disciplinary hearing over his alleged racist remarks on the day of the massacre.

Colleagues had complained that Samuel Cassidy made inappropriate racial comments to them while working as a station maintenance worker at the Valley Transportation Authority, and he also reportedly boasted about having guns and explosives, reported KNTV-TV.

The 57-year-old Cassidy had been scheduled to face those allegations Wednesday at a so-called Skelly hearing, but instead shot and killed nine co-workers and then himself.

Trump regime’s amazing list of crimes keeps getting longer — but we can’t afford to look away

Donald Trump and his regime committed many criminal, evil and otherwise despicable acts in plain sight. Those include, with no attempt to be comprehensive:

a reign of terror against nonwhite migrants and refugees;embracing racial authoritarianism and white supremacy as de facto national policy;nurturing neofascism and other anti-democratic causes and beliefs;attacking the country’s democratic institutions and the rule of law; launching a coup attempt and inciting an attack on the U.S. Capitol;chronic lying about matters large and small, in an effort to subvert the truth and empirical reality;creating a political personality cult;becoming a role model for antisocial behavior;encouraging right-wing terrorism and other political violence;largely abandoning the people of Puerto Rico after the Hurricane Maria disaster;engaging in acts of treason and collusion with a hostile foreign power;deploying a secret-police force that disappeared protesters off the streets;amplifying the power of Christian nationalists in their war against secular democracy and the Constitution;turning over even more public money to corporate plutocrats;engaging in democide against the American people by actively sabotaging and undermining pandemic relief efforts;degrading the civil and human rights of Black and brown people and other marginalized groups.

Several weeks ago, we learned that the Trump regime spied on journalists at the Washington Post who were investigating the Russia collusion scandal. More recently, reports have revealed that the Trump regime also spied on CNN reporter Barbara Starr. This is part of a broader pattern of retaliation against those media outlets and journalists that Trump viewed as his “enemies.”

    @MontanaBill:

    - #45 lied about the pandemic, and we lost SEVERAL HUNDRED THOUSAND Americans as a result

    - #45 and the Republicans cut taxes over and over again on the rich, and did NOTHING for the middle class and lower, setting the highest deficit EVER.

    - The evidence is clear: Republicans are deficit hawks – UNTIL a Republican gets into office, after which they spend like a drunken sailor (especially on their friends, e.g., Halliburton being funded by their ex-CEO who just happened to be VP, or #45 openly giving work to unqualified companies because they paid him, let alone the payoffs to his own companies), and cut taxes on the rich and themselves.

    - #45 promised infrastructure and delivered…nothing. Biden has real infrastructure issues. Right now, we are behind virtually every industrialized nation when it comes to technological infrastructure, our roads, our bridges, etc., etc.

    - And of course you are hiding from the real point of the whole cartoon: the GOP is supporting TRAITOROUS ACTIVITY, including an attempted OVERTHROW OF THE GOVERNMENT on behalf of the Republican ex-president, who is in bed with the Russians

    So who’s wearing a blindfold?

One might think that the elephants would welcome a 1/6 Commission – as an opportunity to “prove” that the insurrection never happened… and if it did, it was done by Antifa… The elephants must not even believe their own stories, let alone their abilities to sell them to everybody else…

Ted Cruz dragged for sharing ‘Russian propaganda’ advert and criticising ‘woke’ US military

The outspoken US senator, whose 2021 has so far consisted of a stream of never-ending gaffes, decided on Thursday that it would be a good idea to take a pop at the US military, specifically one of their recruitment adverts, which was contrasted with a piece of propaganda for the Russian military.

Cruz retweeted the video – captioned Russian army ad vs US army ad 2021 – which starts with an intimidating and bleak video from Russia, which shows men being put through their paces, before moving onto a much more positive animated American advert about positive inclusion with the US military. There is a stark difference between the two and, although it could be argued that making adverts for the military is weird in the first place, Cruz appeared to prefer the Russian version.

“Holy crap. Perhaps a woke, emasculated military is not the best idea….” wrote the Texan, perhaps without any inclination as to what he was actually sharing.

We know that the Seditionist Senators, Cruz and Hawley, were second only behind Traitor Trump in responsibility for the mob of traitors attempting to overthrow our democracy. Thought experiment: how many other Republicans in Congress aided and abetted? I’d have to think at least thirty or so (split between the House and the Senate). Which is why the filibuster, of course.
