The New York Times reports Donald Trump is calling his potential 2024 rival “Meatball Ron” in private.

“Let’s be honest,” the Daily Beast’s Matt Lewis argued. “Trump is an equal opportunity offender. His goal is to come up with some way… any way to define, diminish, and humiliate his opponents. He works diligently at this effort, testing and revising his slurs. And while ‘DeSanctimonious’ was a good first effort, it also had too many syllables. Likewise, ‘Shutdown Ron,’ the other name he is reportedly toying with, doesn’t have the same ring as ‘Meatball Ron.’”

“Oh, I do not like how much I love that,” CBS’s Stephen Colbert said, reacting to the new moniker during his Tuesday night monologue, which also chided Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign announcement.

“She doesn’t put up with bullies,” Colbert said, mocking Haley. “She only calls them on the phone to ask them if she can run for president. Because nothing says strength like picking your bully’s brain before you can do anything.”

But it was the revelation of Trump’s new nickname for Ron DeSantis that made Colbert giddy. “It’s so dumb and accurate.”

US teen sentenced to life for racist massacre at supermarket

A white supremacist who murdered 10 Black people during a live-streamed supermarket rampage in New York state last year was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday during an emotional hearing that saw a man lunge for the shooter. Payton Gendron, 19, had pleaded guilty to a state charge of domestic terrorism motivated by hate over the massacre in Buffalo in May, which carries a mandatory penalty of life without parole.

Fact: During his incompetent reign as Supreme Leader of the State of Indiana he committed an outright moral, if not legal crime. The city of East Chicago, IN has a neighborhood called “The Calumet”. The ground was poisoned by lead. If memory serves, it was a Superfund site. The Federal Government gave Indiana money to clean up the site. Pence refused to use it to clean the calumet neighborhood up. The calumet was a black neighborhood when I lived there. I imagine it still is. My point is that Pence didn’t want to clean the area up because it was a black neighborhood. The 1st thing the As Tea-Party government was to immediately clean the area up. Pence is an absolute pile of dirt.

He is one of the reason’s Indiana is known as “Alabama North.”

Haley has a rather slim resume for a presidential candidate. Kissing 45’s butt is only the weakest requirement.

She said there should be mandatory mental competency tests for politicians over 75. I think there should be one for Republicans of any age.

I can’t believe that people are so naive that they think that Nikki Haley is actually running for president. She is setting herself up to run a vice-president under Trump. Trump himself probably okayed her announcement.
