It took me a second read-through of the comic to realize that the squat little gnome next to the speaker was Eddie cosplaying.

I was 24…we really hit the dance floor with this one as well.

Wonderful strip. One of them that make me wish GoComics would provide a higher resolution to enjoy the art more in detail.

Sometimes you just need to dance. If you are happy, then dance in joy. If unhappy, then a dance can lift one’s spirits.

Took a while to make out Eddie in his, uh “costume.”

Well here I thought that I was Larry’s age but it apparently turns out I am closer to Larry’s dad’s age. I was out of college, commissioned in the Army and finishing up training when that song came out.

Such fun! I have that song on my “dance tunes” play list. It’s my favorite for when I’m cooking. (Dancing in the kitchen….)

There was some bad blood because C&C Music Factory hired the (obese) Weather Girls to sing the hook but had a hot model miming it in the video.
